アンプラン神楽坂
UNPLAN Kagurazaka is a design-forward hostel in one of Tokyo's most atmospheric neighborhoods, three minutes on foot from Kagurazaka Station. The four-floor building runs capsule dormitories alongside a private double room, a 24-hour common room with full kitchenette, and a rooftop terrace. On the ground floor sits Gather by UNPLAN, a specialty coffee cafe and bar open to guests and the public alike.
The beds are UNPLAN's own proprietary capsule bunks, each fitted with a security box large enough for a laptop, a dedicated power outlet, hanger pipe, and reading light. Mixed and female-only dorm floors keep the building easy to navigate. The private double room adds an en-suite shower, toilet, balcony, refrigerator, and safe, and sleeps up to three.
The cafe is the most-reviewed element across 668 Google ratings. Baristas work with single-origin specialty coffee, craft beers, and a food menu including bagels, granola, French toast, and vegan options. A solo sauna (TUNE) added in June 2025 rounds out the on-site experience. Staff speak Japanese and English, with some also speaking Chinese and Korean. Regular events include neighborhood bar-hopping tours, cooking evenings, and guest meetups.

Take the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line to Kagurazaka Station (Exit 1), then walk 3 minutes northeast. Alternatively, Iidabashi Station (Oedo, Namboku, and Yurakucho lines) is a 7-minute walk. From Shinjuku Station, the Tozai Line reaches Kagurazaka in about 15 minutes. From Narita Airport, take the Narita Express to Shinjuku (about 1 hour 20 minutes) then change to the Tozai Line.
Kagurazaka is a historic Tokyo neighborhood in Shinjuku Ward, blending traditional Japanese townhouse streets with French bistros and boutique shops — a legacy of the early 20th century French community. Served by Kagurazaka Station (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line) and Iidabashi Station (Oedo, Namboku, Yurakucho lines), it sits 15 minutes from Shinjuku and is well-connected to central Tokyo. The vibe is calm and walkable by Tokyo standards — narrow stone alleys, sake bars, independent coffee shops, and very little of the city's usual noise.
