エイトリング コワーキング
A coworking space in Nagoya's Marunouchi business district, two minutes on foot from Marunouchi Station. AteRing ("eight ring") opened in 2023 inside a brand-new medical mall building and has built a reputation as one of the more unusual coworking spots in central Nagoya. The kind of place where you might work in the morning, hop in an oxygen box at lunch, and join a business networking session in the evening.
Drop-in (1-day) access costs ¥1,100 per dayand is available weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00. No reservation needed. Walk in, pay, and get a desk with Wi-Fi. Monthly plans start at ¥33,000 for a free desk (no registration) and unlock24/7 access year-round. Corporate registration is possible on the Light (¥16,500/month, virtual office only) or Basic Advance (¥38,500/month, free desk + registration) plans. Enquiries go through LINE. There is no email form on the website.
The workspace is clean and quiet. Reviewers consistently describe it as calm and easy to focus in. Private roomswith desktop computers are available for online interviews and meetings. Bookable via the TimeTree app. The space also has aprojector and large monitoravailable for events. Several reviewers have run seminars and group sessions here for up to 20 people.
The standout feature is the high-concentration oxygen boxon the premises. Walk-ins are welcome if a unit is free. It costs ¥2,000 for 30 minutes. Reviewers who used it describe it as genuinely effective for fatigue recovery, sharper focus, and a lighter feeling in the body. There is also aprivate sauna (the "flying sauna") for unwinding after a long work session. Both are marketed as productivity tools, not just wellness add-ons.
Food gets surprisingly strong reviews. On Mondays, a salad bowl lunchis served. Duck, chicken, sweet potato and cream cheese baguette. Multiple reviewers mention it specifically. For booked events, the team can arrange homemade bento boxes. The adjacent restaurantDrink and Health CENT is mentioned twice by reviewers as a good option for a meal break.
ateRing runs regular community networking events. The "ateRing Evening Sessions" (夜会). Two to four times a month. All tenants are from different industries by design, which the operator credits for the business connections that form here. If you are looking for a focused desk during the day, this is a solid, well-maintained spot. If you want a place where you might actually meet people useful to your work, it is one of the few in Nagoya that actively facilitates that.
Note for international nomads. The website and all staff communication is in Japanese. The owner responds to Google reviews in English (apparently via translation), so basic communication may be possible, but walk-in English support is not confirmed. Drop-in hours are limited to weekdays 9:00–18:00. There is no weekend drop-in option.
From Marunouchi Station (Nagoya Municipal Subway Tsurumai Line or Sakura-dori Line), walk 2 minutes. The space is on the 2nd floor of the Marunouchi Medical Mall, a new building completed in July 2023 at 2-16-8 Marunouchi, Naka Ward. Also accessible from Fushimi Station and Sakae Station within 10 minutes on foot.
