Yoka Lab Tenjin

A member-based coworking space in Fukuoka's Tenjin district, occupying the 9th floor of the Tosen Tenjin Building in Daimyo. Yoka Lab has been running for years and it shows in the setup. The floor is over 100 tsubo (roughly 330 sqm), split into a coworking area, a study room, a shared office zone, a lab area with private booths, and a meeting room. That spread means there is nearly always a spot that fits your mood or noise tolerance.

Drop-in is open to anyone who registers as a member (registration is free). ¥600 for the first hour, then ¥300 per additional 30 minutes, capped at ¥2,100 for a full day. Bring your ID on the first visit. After 3 hours the day rate kicks in automatically, which is a good deal if you are settling in for a long session. Free drinks are included with every visit. Wi-Fi and power outlets are at every seat. The space lends out cables, mice, keyboards, LAN cables, a monitor, USB hubs, and more at no charge, so you can travel light.

Monthly memberships give you IC-card entry, which means no check-in queue. Seven monthly tiers run from ¥4,950/month (Morning. Weekdays 9-14h) up to ¥16,500/month (Full-Time. All hours every day). Most tiers include free daily meeting room use and access to the digitizing kit (book scanner and cutter). There is also a Share Office membership at ¥31,900/month for a dedicated fixed desk with 24-hour access. The space allows business address registration and corporate registration for Share Office and certain monthly tiers.

The meeting room seats 6 (with 2 overflow seats), and has a 27-inch monitor, whiteboard, wired LAN, and power. Drop-in members pay ¥500/hour. A laser multifunction printer handles B&W and color printing, scanning, and fax. The massage chair is a nice touch after a long focus session.
