CICフクオカ
CIC Fukuoka is a global startup campus on the 7th floor of One Fukuoka Building in Tenjin, the commercial heart of Fukuoka. Opened April 2025 as CIC's second Asian location after Tokyo, it operates in partnership with Nishi-Nippon Railroad and houses both Fukuoka Prefecture's Global Connect startup support hub and Fukuoka City's Global Business Support desk. This is not a casual drop-in space. It is built for startups, scale-ups, and companies serious about growing in Japan or expanding internationally.
No drop-in is available. Access is monthly membership only. The coworking free-address area has around 40 shared desks at ¥80,000 per month. Private offices run across 143 rooms accommodating teams of 1 to 12 people, with pricing available on inquiry. All memberships run on flexible 30-day terms with no long lock-in. Members get 24/7 keycard access, bilingual staff support, business address registration, and full use of the amenity spaces.
The workspace infrastructure is built for serious work. 16 meeting rooms with city views over central Tenjin are available to members, plus a dedicated podcast room and 16 soundproof phone booths including accessible options. High-speed internet, printing, video conferencing, and phone service are all included. A kitchen and café space, wellness area, and game room round out the floor.
The community is a draw in itself. CIC's model is built around high-density co-location of investors, founders, and corporate innovation teams. The space also runs Venture Café Fukuoka, a free weekly gathering open to the public, which pulls in the wider startup ecosystem. One nomad guide calls it "an excellent place for networking" and notes the concentration of local startups in residence.
A kitchen and café space are available on the floor. Specific menu items and dietary options are not confirmed in available data. Check directly if you have dietary requirements.

CIC Fukuoka runs on the belief that proximity between founders, investors, and corporate teams accelerates growth. The resident mix leans toward early-stage startups tackling local challenges and established firms pursuing international expansion. Venture Café Fukuoka holds free weekly public events from the same floor, drawing the wider Fukuoka startup ecosystem into the building. The space also hosts Global Connect Fukuoka, a prefecture-run startup support program, and a Fukuoka City Global Business Support satellite desk.
