From JR Kanazawa Station, take the Kanazawa Loop Bus (Left Loop) from bus stop no. 7 and alight at stop LL6 Sakura-bashi. Walk 100 m in the direction the bus came from, then turn left at the second traffic light. After 30 m you will see the brick building on your left. A one-day Loop Bus pass is available at the hostel reception. Alternatively, take local bus #18 from stop no. 3 toward Tobushako, alight atSaiwai-cho, walk back 150 m, turn left at the first traffic light, then 180 m and right at the next light. The hostel is at the southern edge of the central Katamachi area, a short walk from the Saigawa riverfront.
Shintatemachi is a quiet, characterful street in central Kanazawa lined with independent cafes, craft shops, and small galleries.
