LINNAS Kanazawa is a community hotel and coliving space in Owaricho, the historic merchant district at the edge of Omicho Market in central Kanazawa. Built around the Danish concept of HYGGE. The coworking setup is centered on the 1F guest lounge, which doubles as a work space for ¥1,000/day (10:00–18:00). Guests staying short-term also have access to the IT Business Plaza Musashi, a free public coworking space 7 minutes away. No reservation needed, just sign in at reception. During coliving programs, this becomes the main daytime work venue.
The structured Urban Retreat coliving programsrun from 1 week to 1 month and come with a curated schedule. Yoga, group workouts, Omicho Market tours, a bus trip to the Noto Peninsula (still recovering from the 2024 earthquake), and company visits for business matching. Welcome and farewell dinners at local Kanazawa restaurants are included. A Discord community connects participants before, during, and after. On-site amenities go further than most coliving spaces. There is an Italian-inspired charcoal grill and smoked food restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Room cleaning is only provided for stays of 4+ nights (eco-clean). For 2+ nights, trash exchange available on request. Towel exchange with additional charge. Amenities (yukata, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, slippers, toothbrush, cotton set) are provided; pajamas not provided — bring your own or rent the facility yukata.
Cancellation policy: Cancel by 14+ days before check-in: 10% fee. 3+ days before: 50%. From check-in day or no-show: 100%. Children under 5 stay free in a private room (1 child per room). Children 6+ counted as one adult. Check-in from age 18; under-18 requires a consent form.
Kanazawa city accommodation tax applies: ¥200/person/night for bookings ¥5,000 or above. Not included in room rate — paid on-site.

From Kanazawa Station, take the bus from East Exit platforms ③⑧⑨⑩ toward Omicho Market (近江町市場). Two stops, about 5 minutes, ¥210. Walk through the market to LINNAS, a further 5 minutes on foot. FromKomatsu Airport (KMQ), take the limousine bus to Musashigatsuji/Omicho Market. About 50 minutes, ¥1,300. No dedicated parking. Coin parking nearby runs ¥900–2,000/24 hours.
About Owaricho
Owaricho is a historic merchant district in central Kanazawa, directly adjacent to Omicho Market — one of Japan's oldest and most active covered fresh markets. The area sits within walking distance of Kenrokuen Garden, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Higashi Chaya geisha district, making it one of the most central and walkable bases in the city. Kanazawa Station is about 10 minutes by bus (¥210), and the Hokuriku Shinkansen puts Tokyo under 2.5 hours away. The vibe is traditional but lived-in: fishmongers and vegetable stalls in the morning, craft galleries and casual restaurants through the day.
