Social Apartment EDA is a large-scale coliving community operated by Global Agents, perched on a hillside in Yokohama's green Aoba Ward. With 71 units across four floors, it's one of the brand's original properties. Celebrating its 15th anniversary with a renovation in 2025. The building sits above Eda Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, a 12-minute walk away with a steep uphill approach. Shibuya is approximately 30 minutes by train.

The common areas are the heart of EDA. A 120 sqm main lounge features a large dining table, sofas, and cafe-style seating with natural light. A separate 24-hour working lounge has WiFi, power outlets, Bluetooth speakers, and private box seats for focused work. There's also a play lounge with a 4K projector and billiards, a 24-hour fitness room, and the building's signature hilltop panoramic bath with views over the surrounding greenery.

Important for remote workers.WiFi does not extend to private rooms. You'll need your own WiFi router for in-room connectivity. The working lounge has its own connection. The area around the building is quiet residential, with a supermarket roughly 15 minutes' walk downhill. An electric bicycle or motorcycle is strongly recommended given the slope.

No food service is provided.Residents cook for themselves in the shared kitchen. Dietary options not confirmed. There is no communal catering. The nearest supermarket is roughly 15 minutes on foot.

The working lounge and fitness room are available 24 hours. Bikes and motorcycles can be parked on site (~¥500/month for the building lot). Shoes-off policy at entrance. Office hours for inquiries are 10:00–19:00 (closed Wednesdays and public holidays).

Shibuya is approximately 30 minutes direct. For long-distance travel, theTomei Eda highway bus stopis nearby and connects to Shinjuku Busta and Tokyo Station for approximately ¥520. A stress-free seated alternative to crowded trains. Nearest supermarket (My Basket) and 7-Eleven convenience store are approximately 15 minutes on foot downhill.
