アンプラン福岡
UNPLAN Fukuoka is a design-forward hostel overlooking Ohori Park, one minute on foot from Ohorikoen Station on the Fukuoka City Subway. The building has six floors with two types of dormitory rooms (pod-style and bunk beds), plus private rooms for those who want more space. The ground floor houses COFFEE MAKER, an in-house cafe open to both guests and walk-ins.
For remote workers, each dormitory bed includes a side board with indirect lighting and a security box for laptops and electronics. Free WiFi covers the entire building. The 5th-floor lounge (Gather by UNPLAN) is the main common area with seating for working or socializing. There is no dedicated coworking space, but the cafe and lounge both work for getting things done during quieter hours.
The hostel runs weekly events including movie nights and happy hours at the bar, plus occasional workshops like traditional Japanese painting. Guests consistently praise the multicultural staff, the cleanliness, and the quality of the mattresses and pod beds. Continental breakfast is included. The shared kitchen has a microwave and refrigerator for self-catering. Laundry facilities are available on site.
The location is a strong point. Ohori Park is directly across the street, Fukuoka Castle ruins are within walking distance, and Tenjin (the main shopping and nightlife district) is a few subway stops away. The hostel also doubles as a running station with 18 lockers and 8 shower booths, which is useful if you want to run the 2 km park loop before settling in to work.

From Fukuoka Airport, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) for about 20 minutes to Ohorikoen Station. Take Exit 4 and walk 40 meters (about 1 minute). The hostel is directly in front of Ohori Park. From Hakata Station, take the subway to Ohorikoen (2 stops, about 6 minutes). From Tenjin, it is one stop on the same line. Bus stops Otemon-sanchome, Minato-nichome, and Arato-itchome are all within a 2-3 minute walk.
Otemon sits between Tenjin and Ohori Park, one of Fukuoka's most walkable neighborhoods. Ohorikoen Station (Kuko Line) is right here, connecting to Hakata in 6 minutes and the airport in 10. The area has a quieter residential feel than central Tenjin, with Ohori Park's running paths and lakeside cafes a short walk away.
