NewWork Odawara

NewWork Odawara is a corporate satellite coworking spaceoperated by Tokyu Corporation, part of the NewWork chain with directly managed locations across Japan. This is not a drop-in space. Membership is restricted to corporations with 100 or more employees purchasing a minimum of 20 access licences. Individual freelancers and sole traders cannot join.

The space sits on the 6th floor of the Odawara Dai-ichi Life Building, a 2-minute walk from Odawara Station on both the JR Tokaido Line and the Odakyu Line. It is a compact location by NewWork standards.10 seats total, split between an open area and bookable private booths. The layout follows the standard NewWork directly-managed design, which one early reviewer noted as 'very convenient' even at this smaller regional scale.

Private spaces require advance reservation and are priced per 15-minute block. The 6-person meeting room runs ¥600 per 15 minutes (tax excluded) and is equipped with a monitor and locking door. There is also a 4-person wide private booth at ¥350 per 15 minutes and two 1-person private booths at ¥170 per 15 minutes. Sessions longer than 120 minutes require a new booking.

Standard facilities include Wi-Fi, power outlets, a phone booth, and a free printer (multifunction copier). A free vending machine campaign is currently running in place of a dedicated drink bar. No food is served on-site. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are not available here.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 20:00, closed on weekends and public holidays. Note the building access restriction. From18:30 onwards the main entrance is closed and you must enter via the bicycle parking or car park side entrance. The building is fully inaccessible after 20:00.
