For lattes, the default is one shot for medium, two for large, which reviewers consistently flag as too milky. Ask for an extra shot if you want it stronger.

The space has raw concrete floors, wood detailing, and a minimal Japanese aesthetic. Indoor seating is limited to around 6 chairs, with standup tables and outdoor benches. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. It is notably large by Japanese cafe standards according to multiple reviewers, though the indoor chair count stays small. All drinks are served in disposable cups even for dine-in. This has been the consistent policy since at least 2022 and generates regular complaints from reviewers who expected ceramic. Hand drip coffee sometimes stops being available around 2pm on busier days.

There is no WiFi and laptops are not permitted. This is a place to drink coffee, not to work. Reading or journaling is fine. The 1-drink-per-person minimum is strictly enforced, including for people who only want food. No children under 10 are allowed inside. Food is limited to scones and occasional pastries. The orange scone is the standout. Ask for it to be warmed up. The lemon cake has also drawn consistent praise. The menu is coffee-only for drinks, with no tea or non-coffee options reported except chocolate. Oat milk (Oatside brand) is available for an extra 150 yen. Soy milk (Bonsoy) is also on the menu. The English menu is available and some staff speak basic English. Staff are noted as helpful when guiding bean selection, though enforcement of the house rules has generated friction with groups and families. Individual drip bags are sold to take home. The roastery also operates a 10-year-old bean subscription and wholesale operation.
