A government-backed startup support facility in Fukuoka's Daimyo district, housed in the renovated former Daimyo Elementary School. Fukuoka City and a group of private sponsors run FGN as a launchpad for early-stage companies, but the coworking floor is open to anyone who wants to drop in. The building itself is the first thing most visitors notice. Pre-war construction, wide corridors, high ceilings. It feels nothing like a generic office building.

The coworking space is a free-desk zone on the first floor. No reservation required. Walk in, find a seat, get to work. Hours run 9:00 to 22:00 every day, closed only during New Year holidays. Three membership plans exist for regular users. A Single plan for solo workers, a Multi plan you can share with other members, and a U25 special plan for people under 25. A second floor sub-event space and third floor conference rooms are available for booking by members and event organizers. The building also houses a free startup consulting desk (Startup Cafe), an employment law consultation service (FECC), global business support for companies expanding overseas, and awabar Fukuoka, a standing bar on the ground floor popular with the local startup crowd. The bar is closed Sundays, Wednesdays, and holidays.
